30 FUNNY PREGNANCY MYTHS I'VE HEARD SO FAR

Apparently drinking from the bottle is not allowed lol

Right from the time I was a teenager, I have heard many pregnancy myths and some of them are very hilarious. Scientifically, many of which have not been proven to be accurate but some women confirmed that some of the supposedly myths are actually true.

1.                 They said pregnant women should not eat food inside a pot if not their babies will have black buttocks..
2.                 Pregnant woman should not drink cold water to avoid your baby from developing catarrh. Though according to physicians drinking cold water is not healthy even for anybody.
3.                 Do not drink beverage/ tea while you are pregnant to avoid your baby from having over seize. To an extent I believe this one is right, though everything has to be moderated.

4.                 Don’t drink directly from a bottle while pregnant so that your pelvic will not be too tight during delivery. I don’t see how drinking from the bottle relates to pelvic area being tight.

5.                 Don’t carry newborn baby else you may have miscarriage or contraction will start even when you are not due.

6.                 Don’t sit on the same seat a woman that just delivered used. What is does that mean?
7.                 Don’t sweep with short broom. Well maybe because it will not allow a pregnant woman to have good balance while sweeping.
8.                 They said that when you eat snail your baby will be very sluggish and will always gushes out saliva after the baby is born. lolzzzzzzzzzz

9.                 Don’t eat nor drink while standing.
10.            Don’t go to burial while you are pregnant
11.            Don’t drink alcohol while pregnant. Well that could be a good advise for any pregnant to avoid health complication for both the mother and the baby.
12.            That a pregnant woman should not allow anybody to cross or jump over her legs or else her baby will have a resemblance of the person that cross her legs when she delivers the baby.

13.            Don’t eat grass-cutters during pregnancy else you will have a delayed labour. hmmmmmm
14.            When you eat bush meat, keep the bone if not you will have difficulty during  delivery.

15.            Don’t eat banana and don’t go out at noon and don’t eat okra else your baby will always be drooling

16.            Eat monkey meat so that your baby will be smart and strong.

17.            Don’t eat plantain to avoid the head of the baby from splitting.
18.            Don’t eat egg to avoid hiccup during labour.
19.            Make sure to use pin on your clothes to prevent evil spirits and it will not allow evil to come near your unborn child.

20.            Don’t make love with your husband when you are 8 months pregnancy. Doctors should tell us if this is right or not.
21.            Don’t stay in the sun for a long time else you will give birth to albino
22.            That a pregnant woman must carry broom or pin in her body when going out in the night to avoid the baby being exchange in her womb to an evil child

23.            Eat carrot if you want a baby that is fair in complexion
24.            That you should drink warm water to fasten the labour
25.            That you should not eat leftover food else you will execrate on yourself during delivery

26.            Don’t wear necklaces and bangles while pregnant
27.            Don’t eat nor sit on the door post
28.            Don’t lick orange to avoid having a tight vagina
29.            That eating fish especially the head will make the baby to be very intelligent and eating \guinea fowl makes the child to be smart and wise also eating pork meat will make the baby to have a full hair.

30.            That eating spicy food will make your baby to be bald. I can’t stop laughing.

Williams Uchemba Is At It Again

Williams Uchemba is at it again, recently he was in the news for helping a young boy hawking plantain on the road, which we later learnt was sent hawking by his guardian who promised his parent before taking him to the city that she will send him to school only to turn the boy to a hawker on Lagos road. On Saturday 4th of August, 2018, Williams was seen on a video, which he shared on his facebook page giving out N10,000 to another young man hawking groundnut. Whom he said was standing by the roadside looking tired after standing under the sun for hours without making any sales. He did not stop at that, he also removed and handed over his new pair of sneakers which happened to be the young man’s size to him. In the video he was telling the young man that gradually he will make it in life, how thoughtful of him. This is another action which shows that Williams has such a big heart and God will continue to bless him. His facebook post reads:
“He was sitting on the road side with this groundnut looking tired and hungry I stopped and realized he hasn’t sold anything today so I asked him how much all his groundnut cost and he said N1200($5), he has been under the sun since morning for $5 ..I didn’t know a better way to make his day better so I gave him my snickers (which happened to be his size) with 10,000 and asked him to go home and call it a day..He also told me that he is in school and this is how he helps pay his fees and help the family as well, but I don’t think I want him to selling again..I am not a rich man but I realized that it actually doesn’t cost a lot to help people, the truth of the matter is that anyone can help someone in need without having a lot of money. I have a lot of shoes but I can only wear one at a time while the rest seats at home so why would I want to keep them all to myself when I can share with people that don’t have much.why could you keep 100k in your account and you have a lot of helpless and hungry people around you and you pass them by without feeling a sense of guilt and compassion.YOU CANT HELP THE WHOLE WORLD BUT YOU CAN HELP SOMEONE..this is the life I’ve decided to live and it sure will be nice if you try it by helping people around you that are in need... #Godislove”

In another development a woman who was identified as Mrs Chinelo ,who Williams reported to has been persistent in sending him messages since February, 2018 asking for help. According to him, as a result of numerous messages being sent to his inbox on a daily basis, he could not see Mrs. Chinelo's message.

Fortunately for her, when he checked his inbox and saw her message, after some investigation, he found out the woman is on a salary of N13,000 ($35) monthly, which did not amount to anything. Williams allegedly wrote on his instagram page asking his fans and the good people of Nigeria to help Mrs. Chinelo so that she can take care of her children and pay their school fees.

Apparently, Mrs. Chinelo asked for a bag of rice but within 24 hours after Williams posted her request on his instagram page, she realized above N500,000. The woman and her children were very grateful to Williams and his fans who donated to help them.

And we say may God continue to bless Williams Uchemba to continue with this good work. This is a celebration period show some love and  be a blessing to at least one person around.

Shocking As Lovely Couple Die Barely 10 Days After Their Wedding

Adamu Luka who hails from Maiduguri and a former student of Maiduguri University (UNIMAID) and presently working with a company in Kano just celebrated their holy matrimony barely 10 days ago. Friends and relatives are pouring out their tributes; Mc De'Chris wrote on facebook: "Lord we know that our times are in Your hands but eh shock and sadness that the life of this precious couple, whom we all love so dearly, was cut short in a so distressing way, fills our hearts with deep pain and sorrow. Be our comfort in this time of loss and uphold all that are in pain today knowing that You are our God of comfort and the Great Comforter who comforts all that are hurting. Be especially close to the family and those that were nearest and dearest. Give them Your peace and assurance that You are with them throughout all their pain - and pour the light of Your love into their hurting hearts, in Jesus name we pray." The Cause of their death is yet unknown as at the time of writing this article. Our hearts are with their families and may their souls rest in perfect peace.
